Educational/Vocational Services

OJRC educates its youth through an in-house academic program. Teachers from the Ohio Valley Educational Service Center provide instruction in the courses necessary towards earning a high school diploma. Each youth is given grade appropriate assignments.

Special needs (i.e. Individual Education Plans, one-on-one assistance, tutoring, etc.) will be addressed within time frames established by the classroom teachers, one of whom has K-12 Special Education Certification, on an ongoing basis as needed. Distance Learning academic programs are available for credit deficient youth.

Residents will be eligible for public employment upon reaching levels five and six pursuant to the established level system.
